La. R.S. 46:2595 requires Agency ADA Coordinators and Supervisors to complete ADA training within 90 days of hire into the role and every 3 years thereafter.
State Civil Service previously made available the SCS CPTP ADA Compliance training course in LEO (Success Factors)
to assist agencies in satisfying this mandatory ADA training requirement.
Rather than one comprehensive course for both ADA Coordinators and Supervisors,
SCS has revamped the training content and separated it into two audience-specific courses as follows.
- SCS CPTP ADA Agency Coordinator Training
- SCS CPTP ADA Supervisor Training
To locate these courses in Success Factors, please complete the following: (1.) Log into LaGov Learning;
(2.) Select Success Factors; (3.) Click "View My Learning"; and (4.) Enter "SCS CPTP ADA" in the Search for Learning search field.
Agencies have discretion to utilize ADA training content it deems appropriate
in order to comply with the mandatory training requirements.
For those agencies that have used the SCS course, and wish to continue doing so,
please be sure to update all references to reflect the new course names
going forward in your agency training policies, email training reminders, etc.
