Hazard Communication WBT
Whether you work in an office or in the field, you encounter potential safety hazards every day. Being mindful of your environment and
understanding the safety protocols in place can help you avoid workplace accidents. This course will help you interpret safety data sheets
and other hazard communication measures, such as Globally Harmonized System (GHS) labels, you may encounter. This course was designed
specifically for DEQ, but the content is relevant for all employees. In addition to learning how to interpret a GHS label, you will be able
to explain the pictograms used to identify chemical hazards and how to use a safety data sheet (SDS) properly. Downloadable resources for this
